1973 Cricket 2 bands

Original concept for 1973 Cricket was to have 2 phosphor bands. But at almost last minute, the PO decided that all over phosphor looked better, and scrapped the 2 band version. Not before Harrisons had sent 2 band samples to all the publishing houses. in fact the image on the SG catalogues of the time showed 2 band version. An almighty scramble enshewed for the printers. The relatively short run on 9p was OK. The 3p, too, but the poor old 7 1/2p, had a multitued of errors, missing phosphor, missing embossing, embossing shifts, shifts with missing phosphor, issuing quantities of 'scraps' to make deadline. I think the 2 band version looks better... 29 sets are thought to exist.
